Bloodgrave

It has been more than six centuries since the Fall, when the best and brightest of humanity cast down their mad God and destroyed His Holy Empire.

Witness Capitas, crown jewel of The Dominion, seat of the Pantokrator, site of the Deicide; covetous eyes look to the ruins of Humanity’s Greatest City, and the treasures hidden within. A few insane souls have even braved the wartorn Wastelands and the horrors of the undead empire to reach the Necropolis. Some seek fortune and glory, others power and knowledge.

They will all be tested.

You lead a small warband of adventurers who have journeyed to Capitas to explore the blasted city, find lost treasures among the ruins therein, and escape alive. You’ll have to battle ancient evils, compete against fellow graverobbers, and brave dangerous traps in the course of your quest, but the rewards are worth it.

Bloodgrave is a narrative campaign that follows a heartbreaker version of the First Blood ruleset. Set in the blasted ruins of Capitas, the primary city of the Old Dominion, the game consists of custom guidelines for constructing warbands along with a few examples, a sequence of scenarios culminating in a final boss battle, and a simple procedure for progressing your warband between bouts.

The campaign is designed to be played in a single day, with games lasting about an hour and in-between work taking at most 30 minutes. The primary antagonists are the Old Dominion, but warbands can and will compete and clash with each other for dominance. The emphasis of this campaign is narrative drama instead of balance- expect fun, flavorful rules instead of competitive rigor.
