Setup

• Place a treasure token on the point marked T
• Place 6 statue models (if you have them) instead of 3
• deploy the Xhiliarch, Praetorians, and Legionnaires in the purple zone.

Description

After deployment, players must claim the treasure and bring it back to within 3 inches of their respective table corner in order to have successfully captured the treasure.

After the first regiment to claim the treasure has completed their action, roll a D6 and replace a statue with a Kanephor model. This model may be placed in engagement range of a model near the terrain piece. Repeat this process at the beginning of the turn for the next 3 turns.

The Kanephors behavior can be randomized by using a D6 to determine which enemies they should focus and which actions they should perform. However, they should always prioritize charging and attacking whichever regiment currently holds the treasure. That’s the thing they were woken up to protect, after all!

A regiment can choose to leave the table when the leader of the regiment has moved within 3 inches of the respective player’s table corner.

Play continues for 10 rounds or until all of the models in both players’ warbands have left the table or been destroyed- your warband has to capture the treasure and survive!
